An entire session was dedicated to fungal infections at the ATS (American Thoracic Society – International Conference, May 2026).

A large audience (around 500 attendees) engaged with many questions about these respiratory fungal infections, their diagnosis, and management. The role of high-throughput sequencing approaches enabling the characterization of the pulmonary myco-microbiota and its potential dysbiosis was widely discussed!
