Maëlys Venet

PhD Student

Professional background

I am a cardiologist at CHU de Bordeaux with a background in ultrasound imaging and congenital heart disease. My training includes a fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), University of Toronto, Canada, focusing on pediatric applications of cardiac ultrafast ultrasound. I am currently pursuing a PhD within an INSERM position at IHU Liryc, where I develop non-invasive methods to assess right ventricular myocardial work using 3D ultrafast ultrasound. My work aims to improve clinical evaluation and guide therapeutic decision-making in cardiac diseases.
